Virtues Quilt

Here's my virtue word for the week. I'm thinking I ought to persevere a little more and fatten up some of those skinny strips. Another day.

I love it! I especially like how you made the letters different sizes and fit them together so creatively! I'm going to get right to work on my first word...now what word to pick??!

Love it! The striped background gives it lots of energy.

I love the little "c" squeezed in and that all the letters are different sizes.

Not too skinny at all. Also totally love the little "c" above the "e".

I keep trying to get a particular effect with letters, and I always end up rolling with whatever happens. I'm almost always really pleased too. I think part of the joy of liberated piecing is abandoning the need to know what it's going to look like. I like to surprise myself!

I love the little "c," since it looks like what I might do if I were editing a manuscript in which the author (or typist) left out the letter. Heh. Editing is my profession, and this gives me ideas for future quilts. :) Thanks.
